Scope

Information fusion is the synergistic integration of information from different sources about the behavior of a particular system, to support decisions and actions relating to the system. Information fusion includes theory, techniques and tools for exploiting the synergy in the information acquired from multiple sources, for example sensors observing system behavior, databases storing knowledge about previous behavior, simulations predicting future behavior and information gathered by humans.

The 17th International Conference on Information Fusion (Fusion 2014) will be held in Salamanca, Spain. This event will provide a forum to discuss the latest research in Information Fusion its impacts for industry and institutions. It intends to bring together researchers and developers from industry and the academic world to report on the latest scientific and technical advances on this frame. to discuss and debate the major issues, and to showcase the latest systems using these technologies.

Topics

Potential authors are invited to submit papers describing novel ideas, advances and results in Information Fusion, both in theory and applications. Submissions on fresh, interdisciplinary topics are encouraged, including but not limited to the he following list:

  • Theory and Representation

Conference Location

The conference will take place in the Hospedería Fonseca, conveniently located in Salamanca town. The location provides easy access to all major transportation arteries and is within walking distance to most of Salamanca traditional points of interest.

Paper submissions

All papers must be formatted according to the IEEE Xplore template (letter Size Paper template), with a maximum length of 6-8 pages, including figures and references. The templates can be downloaded following the link: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html or in the below links:

In order to submit a paper to the FUSIN 2014you must register as an author at Easychair: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=fusion2014

Special Sessions Proposals for special sessions are welcome; organizers will collaborate in the promotion and review management in their proposed session.

Publication

Accepted papers will be included in FUSION 2014 Proceedings, published by IEEExplorer.

At least one of the authors will be required to register and attend the symposium to present the paper in order to include the paper in the conference proceedings. All accepted papers will be published by IEEExplorer.
